Survivor Assistance

Every Year, About 150 Law Enforcement Officers are
Killed in the Line of Duty

A Son or Daughter Taken Too Soon
A Spouse Never to Return to the Family
A Parent Ripped Away from their Children

Your donation helps DPSF provide assistance to the survivors of officers killed in the line of duty. This assistance is available to the families of any officer killed while in the commission of their duties.

The loss of an officer and family member is a tragedy for both the community and family alike. Compounding that heartbreak and emotional complications, families of fallen officers are often left in financial distress.

DPSF sets aside a percentage of our operating budget to fund this assistance, and we fulfill it every year up to the limit of our available funds. Your contribution will help DPSF show our community’s compassion by helping the families of our fallen officers: their daughters, sons, and spouses.

DPSF’s Survivors Assistance Application can be downloaded here.
